SkyHill Town Homes - Midtown / Poncey Highland Atlanta

There is a new property near Midtown Atlanta in the Poncey-Highland neighborhood.  The development is called SkyHill and is comprised of twelve contemporary town homes. They are being marketed by Allen Snow at Sanctuary Real Estate. The site is just a block away from Ponce De Leon Ave, which has a plethora of restaurants including Fellini’s Pizza, Olive Bistro Midtown, Chipotle and Whole Foods. Construction is scheduled to start in Fall 2008.

Popular night spots MJQs and the Masquerade as well as bars such as the Local, Manuel’s Tavern and Neighbor’s Pub are all within comfortable walking distance. they are also very close to Freedom Park and the upcoming BeltLine Project. The SkyHill Townhomes will make a great addition to this happening area. Plans for this project are already completed, and the developer Alan Cablik Enterprises is currently preparing for construction.  Designed by Derek Seiling of Kuo Diedrich Architecture, SkyHill promises to be an outstanding project to brighten the streets of Atlanta.

The townhomes look to the future with a striking, modern style, enticing others in the area to meet their standard. Townhomes are perfectly suited to this urban location because they use the land to its maximum potential.

Drive under garages supply plenty of parking, but keep cars safe and out of the way. Each townhome has a rooftop terrace above it to increase the living space and to provide outdoor relaxation areas.  These roofs are equipped with a plant-growing system by LiveRoof. This system makes rooftop gardening simple, and allows pleasant greenery to brighten the terrace area. Other significant advantages of the LiveRoof system are that they absorb excess rain water runoff, buffer acid rain and filter out nitrate pollution.

The twelve townhomes are arranged in four different buildings with three units each. An inviting walkway joins the townhomes to each other, fostering a sense of community between them. Each unit features an open floor plan, and a patio on the front of the main level.

The end units have an elevator option and a kitchen island. The master suite has a generous walk-in-closet, double vanity, corner spa bathtub, large separate shower and a balcony off the rear of the master bedroom.

The rooftop terraces on these units are equipped with a wet bar, interior lounge room and a separate sunroom, with exterior space wrapping around the edge of the building, making all of Midtown and Downtown Atlanta viewable.

The center units have a stool countertop creating a second informal eating area, and a conveniently located laundry room on the main floor. The master suites in these units also have a walk-in-closet, spacious bathtub and a separate expansive shower.

The balcony is just off the master bedroom in the front of the unit. Rooftop terraces for the center units have an open plan, with the middle area under comfortable shade, and the front and back open to the sun and the spectacular views.

Atlanta has been waiting for a project SkyHill this to grace its streets, and once it is completed, it will make a mark that will last forever.  Call Allen Snow at Sanctuary Real Estate at 404-931-1176 or by email at asnow@webgenes.com or visit www.allensnowrealty.com <http://www.allensnowrealty.com> .

Wow!.  This project looks awesome. It's about time someone built a contemporary townhome or condo in Midtown Atlanta that uses great architecture.  Condominiums all look the same in Midtown but these are just beautiful.  I love that the builder is using green initiatives.  I wish I could afford it.
